NM Economic Development Dept.
Local Economic Development Act grants fund land, buildings, and infrastructure to help local governments attract expanding businesses and create jobs. Administered through municipalities and counties.
NM Economic Development Dept.
Reimburses 50–90% of wages for classroom and on-the-job training for newly created positions at expanding or relocating businesses. One of the most generous training incentive programs in the U.S.
NM Economic Development Dept.
Reimburses up to 75% of training costs (up to $6,000 per employee) for existing employees at qualifying New Mexico businesses to build new skills and reduce turnover.
NM Economic Development Dept.
Funds up to $200,000 for early-stage technology companies in New Mexico. Supports commercialization, product development, and business launch activities.
NM Workforce Solutions
Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act funding for job seekers and workers in Eastern New Mexico. Covers occupational training, career services, and support for dislocated workers.
U.S. Small Business Administration
Loans, surety bonds, and technical assistance for small businesses in rural New Mexico. Includes 7(a) loans, 504 loans, microloans, and SBDC counseling services.
